USP–NF Online: Official Status Correction to Desoxychloic Acid and Fluconazole Injection

Type of Posting: Publication Correction
Posting Date: 02–Aug–2019

USP recently discovered that for the following monographs, the versions of the files associated with a delayed implementation title change display the incorrect official status of “Currently Official”. Desoxycholic Acid with an official date of 1-Jan-2018 was superseded by a revised version with an official date of 1-May-2018. Fluconazole Injection with an official date of 1-May-2018 should be retired as use of the new title, Fluconazole in Dextrose Injection, is mandatory as of 1-Nov-2018.

The following versions of the monographs and listed DocIDs have been reinstated in the USP-NF Online platform and now appear correctly with an official status of “Older Version”.

  • Desoxycholic Acid–

    DocID: GUID-92A09AA9-B5A9-4B1F-9AD3-A124EEA12239_1999_en-US

  • Fluconazole Injection–

    DocID: GUID-5E598947-FC8E-4ED0-8C5E-DAD4FA0C692B_3999_en-US

USP apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused.
