In <61> Microbiological Examination Of Nonsterile Products: Microbial Enumeration Tests, the official date (at the bottom) should be May 1, 2009, not August 1, 2007.
In <62> Microbiological Examination Of Nonsterile Products: Tests For Specified Microorganisms, the official date (at the bottom) should be May 1, 2009. Also, in Table 1: Test for Salmonella, Test Strains - Xylose Lysine Deoxycholate Agar should say Indicative (Property) for E. coli (Test Strains).
These were corrected in the online version of the First Supplement to USP 31–NF 26 on August 13. It is correct in the Second Supplement USP 31–NF 26. The print version was not affected and is correct. The correct text is reproduced here for the convenience of our CD publication subscribers.
