In accordance with the Rules and Procedures of the Council of Experts, this is to provide notice that the Complex Excipients Expert Committee intends to revise the Lauroyl Polyoxylglycerides monograph.
A comment was received indicating that the incorrect USP RS was referenced in the current version of the monograph, which became official on November 1, 2020. The Expert Committee proposes to revise the Lauroyl Polyoxylglycerides monograph to replace the incorrect reference to USP Lauroyl Polyoxylglycerides 300 RS for Lauroyl Polyoxylglycerides 1500 sample with a correct reference to USP Lauroyl Polyoxylglycerides 1500 RS in the Standard solution description within the Thin-Layer Chromatographic Identification Test..
It is anticipated that the proposed revision will be published as Revision Bulletin on April 30, 2021 with an official date of May 1, 2021 pursuant to the Rules and Procedures.
