USP recently discovered an error with Metoprolol Succinate Extended-Release Tablets as it appears in USP-NF 2023 Issue 2. Dissolution Test 8 was inadvertently left out of the revision proposal in PF 48(1) and the subsequent version that was published in USP-NF 2023 Issue 2 that became official on August 1, 2023.
Dissolution Test 8 can be viewed by accessing the Older Version Official from 03-November-2022 to 31-Jul-2023. USP plans to reinstate the missing Test 8 via Revision Bulletin publishing on May 31, 2024 and official on June 1, 2024.
