In accordance with the Rules and Procedures of the Council of Experts, this is to provide notice that USP intends to revise select Documentary Standards to update the equations for uniformity and readability within the USP–NF Online.
In USP–NF 2023, Issue 3, USP will update the equation formatting in 30 Volumetric Solutions reagents and 14 monographs (the list can be found here). These updates will result in clearer text and more consistent sizing. There are no additional content changes or revisions within these Standards. Users will notice a “Previous DocID” at the bottom of the Standard, indicating that the prior version was replaced. All impacted Standards will maintain their current official statuses.
