In accordance with the Rules and Procedures of the Council of Experts, this is to provide notice that USP intends to revise the Chemical Information of select standards in accordance with the General Announcement published on March 25, 2022.
USP will publish Chemical Information updates on February 1, 2025. The updated standards will be official on August 1, 2025. The changes will be highlighted in yellow and followed by the notation (CN 1-Aug-2025) in the updated standards.
The impacted standards are as follows:
- Indomethacin Extended-Release Capsules (USP Monograph)
- Timolol Maleate Ophthalmic Solution (USP Monograph)
