In accordance with the Rules and Procedures of the Council of Experts, this is to provide notice that the Chemical Analysis Expert Committee intends to revise General Chapter <621> Chromatography. Based on the comments received, the committee considered that stakeholders may need additional time to evaluate the impact of two new requirements scheduled to be official on December 1, 2022
The purpose of this revision is to delay the implementation of the sections titled System Sensitivity and Peak Symmetry under System Suitability.
It is anticipated that the proposed revision to General Chapter <621> will be published as a Revision Bulletin on October 28, 2022 pursuant to the Rules and Procedures of the Council of Experts. It is expected that during the extended period of implementation stakeholders will evaluate existing compendial procedures and submit comments.
