The General Notices and Requirements section of the United States Pharmacopeia and the National Formulary (USP–NF) that were published for public notice and comment in Pharmacopeial Forum 39(1) [Jan.–Feb. 2013] have been approved by the Council of Experts Executive Committee following their consideration of public comments received. These General Notices, which will be included in USP 37–NF 32 (published November 1, 2013 and become official May 1, 2014) and the associated Commentary can be found on the USP–NF General Notices web page. The Commentary includes a table listing the decision of the Executive Committee on each proposed change.
