In accordance with the Rules and Procedures of the 2010–2015 Council of Experts, this is to provide notice that the USP General Chapters—Dosage Forms Expert Committee intends to indefinitely postpone the testing requirement in General Chapter <788> Particulate Matter in Injections that requires compliance by veterinary products administered through intramuscular and subcutaneous routes. USP is engaged in ongoing discussions regarding animal health products and may make additional revisions to the General Chapter based on the outcome.
The General Chapter <788> Particulate Matter in Injections Revision Bulletin supersedes the currently official version published in the First Supplement to USP 34–NF 29.
