The United States Pharmacopeia (USP) will be holding the Prescription/Nonprescription Stakeholder Forum on May 15, 2012. The meeting will be held at USP’s Rockville, Maryland, USA headquarters. To expand the opportunity for stakeholder participation, USP will now offer a web-based component for those who would like to attend the meeting remotely.
Also new to this Stakeholder Forum is the opportunity for stakeholders to submit potential agenda topics via email. Stakeholders are encouraged to submit topics of interest related to USP processes and initiatives. Selected topics will be included on the Stakeholder Forum agenda for presentation and discussion during the meeting. The deadline for topic submissions is Friday, April 6, 2012.
Stakeholder Forums are held to enable an exchange of information and perspectives, with the ultimate goal of improving USP standards and information. The Prescription/Nonprescription Stakeholder Forum provides an opportunity to discuss compendial issues related to prescription and non-prescription drugs and pharmaceutical excipients in an open forum setting.
